Vi de Vila Porrera Caranyana - Garnatxa 2017 750ml

This village wine is produced in Priorat D.O.Q. by the small winery Cims de Porrera at the agricultural cooperative of Porrera.

2017 was an excellent vintage for Priorat with a dry and very hot summer. As a result this wine is made with 78% Cariñena and 22% Garnacha Tinta from different age vines and various soils and orientations.

After each variety is fermented in separate small tanks with controlled temperature, the wine ages for 16 months 80% in concrete tanks and foudres and 20% in French oak barrels resting for 4 years in the bottle before being released to the market.

The wine shows a fantastic complexity of red fruit, sweet spices and mineral nuances, with soft and ripe tanning and a very balance acidity.
Perfect to drink now or in the next 10 years!!
